9/14/2023 0 Comments Bloon city earn bananas 2x![]() ![]() I personally haven't been able to receive or send any crates for a few days now as none of my friends show up in the crates window. However the game interprets this as being friends thus allowing you to specifically target weak players repeatedly to farm them for cash (you get 2k gold + whatever's in their bank). On another note, there have been a number of complaints about the Kongregate fan system interacting poorly with the game's friends system: you can add anybody on Kongregate, but unless you add them back, they remain fans. Thankfully pending attacks appear to be capped at 4 (at least I've never had more than 4) and the damaged buildings timers aren't too long (monkey villages, wizards and supermonkeys excepted), so you can churn through them all in about an hour between doing other things. With the tier 3 bank upgrade at 30k each, even gaining the capacity to save up for the 80k BFB upgrade building is taking ages. The downside, obviously, is that losing a match wipes out all your gold, which makes it hard to get the real top-end structures. Off the top of my head, there aren't that many 2x2 buildings (aside from the Supermonkey related buildings, there's banana farms and the naval base), so if you're having space issues, you may have to knuckle down and just capture more territories. It would help if the Supermonkey building wasn't so huge.įrom a popping power per cash spent perspective, Supermonkeys are very poor expenditures, so I wouldn't recommend them. It's out on kongregate, and ninja kiwi's home site, and probably some others that I don't know about. On the bright side, you can earn them naturally through play by acing levels, so I've gotten a big stock saved up that I never feel I need to use. Buildings and upgrades take time to construct, and there is some FTP deluxe currency that you can use to speed things up (bloonstones). Oh, and did I mention tiles have various terrain that ban or buff certain towers? So you can't coast by on the same strategy every time. So instead of unlocking things automatically as you go, you get the strategic choice of what to spend your town money on so that you can finally take over that pesky tile over there. It also raises the cap on certain things, and certain upgrades are level restricted.Īnd these things become necessary, as the farther out from the center of your base you expand, the longer and tougher the rounds of bloons get. Or buildings to enable PVP (or MvM as it's called)! XP mainly levels up your town, which essentially increases the amount of starting minigame gold and lives you get. Or special support buildings to access specific top tier tower upgrades. Or additional banks to increase your money cap. ![]() And of course you must construct additional pylons windmills to power these buildings. Or you can build upgrade buildings where you can unlock upgrades for purchase within the bloons minigames. ![]() With the new land you can build more buildings that increase how many of the corresponding tower type you can have on the map (up to a cap). ![]() You can expand your base and conquer surrounding land by playing a few rounds of traditional bloons and winning. You start out on a tile based map with your monkey base consisting of a bank, a income generating banana farm, and two buildings that give you 1 dart monkey each. But with this, we have an entirely different formula fitted nicely over the traditional one. Which is well and good, Bloons is one of the best TD games out there. So in previous Bloons iterations, you had a handful of long lasting maps, and you unlocked different towers and upgrade paths automatically. Ok, so Ninja Kiwi has come out with their next Bloons iteration, which expands a lot on the simple Tower Defense formula in a way that I find very intriguing. ![]()
